After completing a rigorous compliance and performance-testing regime, Envirosip now presents its range of products to the Australian housing market.

The Envirosip modular housing system is said to be easy to build, possessing excellent thermal performance, tough, durable, fire-resistant, water proof and completely inert.

Unlike many other structural insulated panels (SIPs), Envirosip’s modular solutions are said to be cheaper to build than traditional methods and save construction time, with a typical house erected in a few days and without waste. A unique feature of the Envirosip panel system is the ability to manufacture panels 2.42m x up to 17.0m in length in one continuous piece.

In association with the University of Melbourne and the ARC Camp.H modular housing program, Envirosip continues to explore suitable applications and design characteristics.

Ideally suited to dwellings and structures that are subject to harsh treatment, Envirosip’s Armour wall and doors (manufactured by Corinthian Doors) will soon be used in government owned assisted housing, to eliminate ongoing costly repairs and refurbishments.

The line of civil products that Envirosip offers includes roadside noise walls, tunnel linings and a full range of drainage pits.■
