DYNAMIC PODS

ISSUE AUG/ SEPT 2019

DYNAMIC PODS’ OFFERING IS BUILT AROUND A QUALITY, SEAMLESS INTEGRATION AND DESIGN FLEXIBILITY; THE FRUIT OF DECADES OF MANUFACTURING AND INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE FROM PARENT BUSINESS DYNAMIC STEEL FRAME.

Dynamic Pods use state-of-the-art light gauge steel frames with millimetre value accuracy to ensure 100 per cent repeatability. The light gauge steel frame exterior is pre-punched for electrical and plumbing services, using Australian made BlueScope Truecore Steel. A marked point of difference lies in the design of Dynamic Pods’ Cast-in Lid, which integrates waste plumbing works during the concrete pour, significantly reducing onsite plumbing works. Each pod’s flooring system is graded to Australian standards and all pods come with a full WaterMark certification.

Managing Director Peter Blythe says Dynamic Pods’ solution resolves many of the issues presented by comparable products in the bathroom pod market.

“One of our key points of difference is our highly customisable product and a unique innovation in the form of an integrated waste plumbing solution housed within our patent-protected cast-in lid. In addition, our unique ‘No-Rebate No-Threshold’ design means the pods can be used across a range of applications. Our pods also require less onsite pre-work than traditional pods, resulting in clear efficiency gains. A Dynamic Pod bathroom, including waste plumbing, electrical and mechanical services, can be connected on site in less than 30 minutes.”

Dynamic Pods provides a 3D modelling service to optimise bathroom pods during the initial stages of architectural design, interfacing early on with project teams to establish design, scheduling, manufacture, delivery and then completion. All designs can be customised in a 3D model to the requirements of the client’s build. An exact replica of the client’s pod enables a visualisation of their projected outcome, and if required, the company can even construct a prototype Dynamic Pod for test installation.

Blythe says the pods are attracting interest from clients due to their flexible floor layouts, enabling the integration of service rises, kitchenettes, laundries, wardrobes, linen closets and even angled walls. Another critical point of difference offered by the company lies in its ability to design bespoke bathrooms for high-end residential applications as well as medical grade hospital health care facilities, student accommodation, and many other end-uses.

Dynamic Pods can also tailor the supply chain to suit clients’ requirements, offering either a fully integrated supply package or utilising clients’ existing material procurement teams to leverage buying power or industry relationships.

Dynamic Pods’ commitment to quality plays an integral role in its forward strategy, says Blythe.

“We have grown a culture of ‘getting it right, first time’ in design and manufacture. We also have a vision to exceed expectations in terms of listening to client requirements to gain a granular understanding of what that means for the finished product.”

Targeting the full gamut of industry sectors, from multi residential encompassing mid- and high-rise to town-houses, large scale domestic projects, hotels, hospitals + healthcare, aged care and student accommodation, Dynamic Pods is continuing to innovate and refine its offer.

“We believe Dynamic Pods offer building projects a fast, efficient and cost effective solution that is already making its mark on in the construction space, across the full spectrum of project types.” ■
