Contest launched to create a prefabricated home that’s sustainable and scalable
If you’re motivated and have some spare time, Finnish competition organiser ArchiFrame, have launched a design competition (Create prefabricated home contest) with the prize value of US$8,000 for an ArchiFrame & Archicad pilot licence valied for 1 year.
According to the entry brief: “Create a wooden prefabricated house that will create the basis for a new kind of prefabricated community. Sustainable and scalable, we’re looking for beautiful prefabricated houses that will get contractors excited to build them and people excited to live there.”
The brief also requires a livable and innovative house design that makes the most of available building materials, embracing their creative and sustainable potential.
The create a prefabricated home contest can be located in either a rural, suburban, or an urban environment.
