Scheduled conference for June cancelled due to Covid safety
With 70% of all conferences now postponed in Australia, the Timber Offsite Construction conference (Frame Australia) and exhibition scheduled for June has also been postponed.
Director Kevin Ezard stated: “With the many exciting developments happening in the world of Timber Offsite Construction, it is very disappointing to announce that Covid safety has forced us to again postpone the 2021 event until later in the year.”
For the past 23 years the key feature of Frame Australia conferences has been the opportunity to network and communicate with colleagues in the industry, and the ‘in-person’ format further delivered a forum for discussion and interaction between all the segments of timber and offsite construction.
“Whilst the 2021 event is planned to be ‘hybrid’ for engagement with a wider audience through ‘virtual’ participation, our core value is in-person attendance from local, interstate and overseas. When the government has reached their vaccination targets, we will conduct a safe event for all of us to enjoy.”
