Precast Concrete TechTalk Webinar open to public on April 5
National Precast Concrete Association are opening their webinar to the public to present the recent chapter of AS 3850: Prefabricated concrete elements, AS 3850.3: Prefabricated concrete elements – Civil construction standards.
AS 3850 provides requirements which impact on safety for planning, manufacturing, construction, design, casting, transportation, erection and incorporation into the structure of prefabricated concrete elements in civil, infrastructure and non-building construction.
It further applies to prefabricated concrete elements, including but not limited to pipes, culverts, bridge elements, tunnel elements, poles, piles, drainage and sewerage access and maintenance chambers, manholes, pits, lintels, headwalls, covers and surrounds, and water quality products.
The presenters are: Simon Hughes – Precast Concepts, Rod Mackay Sim – Hillside Engineering, and Steve Roach – CFMEU. All presenters are Standards Australia committee members of BD-066, which focusses on prefabricated concrete elements.
