The inaugural Smart Building Industry Awards, celebrating excellence, innovation, and sustainable practices within Australia’s prefabricated and modular building industry, will be a highlight of this year’s Offsite 2024 conference. Hosted by prefabAUS, Australia’s peak body for prefabricated building, the awards aim to recognise outstanding projects that push the boundaries of modern construction techniques.
The call for submissions was met with an enthusiastic response, attracting over forty entries across nine diverse categories. These categories encompass commercial and residential projects, materials, and product innovation, reflecting the wide spectrum of the prefabrication, offsite, and modern methods of construction (MMC) industries.
The judging panel for these awards includes eminent figures from the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction sectors in Australia.
Smart Building Industry Awards 2024 judges
Winners will be announced on 28 August 2024 at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park, coinciding with the Offsite 2024 event. This occasion promises to be a significant gathering for the industry, providing a platform to celebrate and showcase the innovations in prefabricated and modular building.
