Modular builder Pineca Group launches online store in Sweden

Strategic move into Sweden by modular builder Pineca Group forms part of global expansion.

Lithuanian modular builder, Pineca Group, is broadening its footprint in Europe with its new online store in Sweden. This recent venture is the company’s third European expansion within the past year, hot on the heels of their foray into the Netherlands in May.

Established in 2011, Pineca Group manufactures garden buildings (granny flats), modular houses, and garages from what they claim to be sustainably sourced timber. The modular business is pitched at both residential and commercial buyers.

The addition of the Swedish online platform marks Pineca’s first entry into the Scandinavian region, and according to company sources, Austria is next on their list.

On launching their Swedish division, CEO Arūnas Gečiauskas highlighted the progress Pineca has made over the preceding three years in honing its operations, marketing, and customer services. He voiced the company’s intentions of exploring fresh markets, broadening the product suite, and maintaining their commitment to customer service.

To align with the Swedish market, Pineca’s Swedish store will initially feature more compact modular offerings like annexes, outdoor saunas, garages, and carports. The modular builder envisions an eventual rollout of more expansive residential constructions, poised to appeal to real estate developers.

From its launch in 2009, Pineca Group has enjoyed a healthy growth trajectory. Launching its maiden B2C e-commerce portal in 2011, the firm now reports a €60 million (AUD $100 million) annual turnover, with a presence in key European markets including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

According to company sources, their delivery network extends to over 30 countries spanning six continents, including the US, Australia, and Japan.
