Modulmatik's AI-led technology aims to accelerate and reduce cost of modular construction

Faster, cheaper, and eco-friendly: Modulmatik’s claims for their adaptive modular construction technologies.

MODULMATIK, a German startup, is seeking to revolutionise the real estate industry with their AI-led technology that makes energy-efficient and eco-friendly modular construction projects more efficient and cost-effective. (main pic: MODULMATIK modular house in Norway.)

They’re claiming that by using their adaptive modular construction technologies, developers can deliver their real estate projects 25% faster and 15% cheaper.

According to company sources, Modulmatik is a system that ensures maximum efficiency at all stages of the project, from visualisation and cost calculation to the organisation of production and installation. The technology allows developers to increase the efficiency of their work at each stage of the project, particularly in the initial stages. With automatic creation of visualisation of possible layout options, calculation of the cost of production time, and other features, developers, apparently, can complete these tasks in just a matter of minutes.

They claim their system has several advantages, including scalability, and their established work flow methodologies also allow the company to easily open new partner factories.

The system simultaneously generates a BIM project file and construction documentation along with the layout and design options from the first steps, allowing immediate manufacturing  following the project’s approval.

Their modular constructed houses are 95% complete, and partner factories are located in the Czech Republic and Poland.
