Situated in Croydon, South London, 101 George Street the world’s tallest modular building was built for the emerging build-to-rent market, and tenants are now unpacking their bags.
The two 44 and 38 storey (World’s tallest modular building) towers were built by Tide Construction for developer Greystar and it offers 546 flats, and one bedroom flats are on offer from £1,450 a month with the option of coming furnished.
It was originally anticipated to be ready for the UK summer 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic and completion of building certifications.
The development includes a roof-top gym, co-working space, cinema room and pet spa.
Todd Marler, a senior director at Greystar said: “Ten Degrees will set new benchmarks for renting in London by offering high-quality housing that perfectly blends work and leisure while providing the utmost comfort and convenience.
“We know that people who rent our properties are not just looking for somewhere to live but also a lifestyle and community. With ten social spaces, Ten Degrees will be home to a genuine community while also meeting the demand for places to work, live and play all under one roof.”
