QUALIFICATIONS LAUNCHED FOR PREFAB

BOX HILL INSTITUTE IN MELBOURNE IS NOW OFFERING ACCREDITED QUALIFICATIONS TO ADDRESS EMERGING SKILLS GAPS IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INSTALLATION IN THE CONTEXT OF OFFSITE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES.

Developed by Box Hill Institute and industry partners under the auspices of the Victorian Government’s Workforce Innovation Training Fund, the program currently offers two courses:

  • Diploma of Project Management for Prefabricated Building Systems (Timber)
  • Course in Onsite Installation of Prefabricated Building Systems (Timber)

“Box Hill Institute ensures the student is at the heart of what we do by delivering quality education in a rapidly changing world,” said Tony Watson, Box Hill Institute Executive Manager – Business Development.

“Box Hill Institute also partners with industry to ensure appropriate skills and knowledge requirements are met, thereby providing employers with competitive advantages within their own dynamic market place.”

The commencement date for the pilot programs: is 30 July, with courses to take place at the institute’s City Centre Campus.
